Following the launch of Zhejiang Province’s major projects commencement activities for the second quarter of 2025, five new “Thousand Projects Trillion Investment” projects in Lishui are set to break ground successively. With a total investment of 12.8 billion yuan and an annual investment of 950 million yuan, these projects will inject fresh momentum into stabilizing and enhancing Lishui’s economy, fostering a new growth pole within the province’s development landscape.
Major project construction serves as a crucial pillar for expanding investment, optimizing structure, and stabilizing growth, while also laying a solid foundation for Lishui’s leapfrog high-quality development. A relevant official from the Municipal Development and Reform Commission stated that the second-quarter major projects highlight Lishui’s efforts to accelerate the integration of technological and industrial innovation, empowering the development of advanced manufacturing.
The Eco-Nice Intelligent Factory and Core Ecological Industrial Zone Project, with a total investment of 3.336 billion yuan, primarily involves the construction of production facilities for plant extraction, high-end personal care products, cleaning and care products, and pet health food, along with supporting facilities such as biotechnology R&D centers, ecological innovation bases, and international ecological cooperation research and experience centers. The project spans all stages from plant breeding and cultivation to functional ingredient extraction, product development, and mass production, while also incorporating leisure, health tourism, and sightseeing, creating a comprehensive and coordinated development model for the Eco-Nice Lishui region.
In addition to driving the development of new quality productive forces through technological innovation, Lishui’s second-quarter major projects closely align with key areas of the “Thousand Projects Trillion Investment” initiative, covering advanced manufacturing bases, transportation infrastructure, and water network security enhancement, further emphasizing both scale and quality while improving people’s livelihoods. For instance, the Zhejiang Ruipu Technology Co., Ltd. Annual 120,000-Ton High-End Special Materials Project in Qingtian County, with a total investment of 5.2 billion yuan, is expected to produce 120,000 tons of high-end special materials annually for aerospace, nuclear power, and other sectors upon completion, achieving an annual output value of 5 billion yuan.
In terms of transportation infrastructure, the Huancheng North Road (Daqiao to Zhushanxia) Connection Project in Suichang County, with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan, will significantly alleviate road traffic pressure, shorten the travel distance between the eastern and western districts of Suichang County, and facilitate cross-regional integration of resources.
For water network security enhancement, the Lishui Dadongjing Medium-Sized Irrigation District Construction Project in Jingning She Autonomous County, with a total investment of 760 million yuan, will help ease water supply-demand conflicts, improve irrigation conditions for farmland, and raise local flood control standards. The project is expected to increase annual grain production capacity by 860 tons and economic crop output by 660 tons in the project area.
Furthermore, seven first-quarter centralized commencement projects in Lishui, including the Zhejiang Yunzhongma Fashion Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Base and the Zhejiang Demei Suspension Annual 12.5 Million New Energy Vehicle Aluminum Alloy Lightweight Suspension System Precision Control Arm Assembly Project, have all commenced substantive construction by the end of March, achieving a 53% commencement rate for new “Thousand Projects Trillion Investment” projects in the first quarter.
“Grasping projects and investment means grasping development and the future”, emphasized the official from the Municipal Development and Reform Commission. Lishui will steadfastly adhere to a “projects-first” approach, foster a strong atmosphere of “prioritizing major projects”, and make every effort to accelerate and enhance the efficiency of major project construction, ensuring all projects commence substantive construction as soon as possible.
